Chaitanya Service Society Distributes Books and Slates to Children

The birthday celebrations of Dr. Sethu Naluswamy, Chairman of Vijaya Bharathi School and a renowned educationist, were celebrated with great enthusiasm at Chaitanya Service Society under the leadership of APSJAC representatives Uttanna Gangaraju and Narasimhalu, along with USFI representative Afrid Ganesh, under the presidency of M. P. Anandan, Founder and Chairman of Chaitanya Service Society.

On this special occasion, the children, teachers, and representatives of Chaitanya Service Society extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to Dr. Sethu Naluswamy with warm applause and affection. Dr. Sethu Naluswamy distributed books and slates to the children and blessed them, encouraging them to pursue their education with dedication and confidence. On behalf of the Society, he was felicitated with a memento and a ceremonial shawl as a mark of respect and appreciation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sethu Naluswamy appreciated the dedicated services of Chaitanya Service Society, which has been providing shelter, education, and nutritional support to underprivileged and neglected children while extending care and support to elderly people for the past 22 years. He stated that the services rendered through Muthu English Medium School, Ananda Old Age Home, and other welfare initiatives of the Society serve as an inspiration to society. He assured that he would continue to extend his support and cooperation to the organisation in the future.

M. P. Anandan, Founder and Chairman of Chaitanya Service Society, conveyed his heartfelt birthday wishes to Dr. Sethu Naluswamy, describing him as an exemplary personality committed to discipline, patriotism, and educational service. He appreciated Dr. Sethu's valuable contribution to the advancement of students and his continued efforts towards the welfare of society.

APSJAC representative Uttanna Gangaraju stated that Dr. Sethu Naluswamy has always responded positively to students' problems and educational needs, as well as the difficulties faced by underprivileged families. He praised Dr. Sethu's remarkable contributions to the field of education and expressed sincere gratitude for visiting the Society, distributing educational materials to the children, and blessing them on his birthday.

Addressing the gathering, A. Kavitha Rani, General Secretary of Chaitanya Service Society, highlighted that Dr. Sethu Naluswamy stands as a symbol of determination, courage, discipline, patriotism, and dedication to educational service. She appreciated his special commitment to identifying students' needs and working towards their progress and development. She also explained the needs of the children and elderly people under the care of the Society and appealed for his continued support and cooperation in the years ahead.

The programme was attended by P. Girijammal, Treasurer of the Society; A. Krishna Charan, Executive Director; teachers; children; and other representatives of the organisation. Remembering the Missile Man of India at Chaitanya Service Society

Chaitanya Service Society celebrated the 95th birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, recipient of the Bharat Ratna, renowned scientist, and popularly known as the “Missile Man of India,” with great enthusiasm and respect.

On this occasion, A. Kavitha Rani, General Secretary of Chaitanya Service Society; P. Girijammal, Treasurer; team members Y. Janardhan, T. Bhargavi, and S. Bharathi; and the students paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, remembering his invaluable contributions to the nation.

Kavitha Rani Inspires Students with Dr. Kalam’s Life and Ideals

Speaking on the occasion, A. Kavitha Rani, General Secretary of Chaitanya Service Society, stated that the life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is an everlasting source of inspiration for every student.

She explained that Kalam was born into an ordinary family and distributed newspapers during his childhood to support his family. Despite facing numerous financial difficulties, he pursued education with tremendous dedication and a deep passion for learning. His discipline, hard work, determination, punctuality, and commitment to continuous learning helped him become a distinguished scientist, the President of India, and a role model for millions of young people.

Addressing the students, Kavitha Rani encouraged them with the following inspiring words:

She explained Dr. Kalam’s childhood struggles, his dedication to education, and his remarkable contributions as a scientist in strengthening India’s defence capabilities. She highlighted that his work in missile technology and space research brought immense pride to the nation.

She further stated that his vision of making India self-reliant and his determination to promote scientific thinking among young people continue to serve as guiding principles for future generations.

“Dream, Dream, Dream. Dreams Transform into Thoughts and Thoughts Result in Action”

Explaining Dr. Kalam’s famous message, “Dream, dream, dream. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action,” Kavitha Rani told the students that real dreams are not merely those seen during sleep. True dreams are the goals that give direction to our lives and inspire us to work continuously towards achieving them.

She advised every student to establish a meaningful goal in life. Whether they aspire to become doctors, teachers, scientists, or responsible citizens serving the nation, they must work sincerely towards their ambitions.

She encouraged the students not to become discouraged by failures but to consider them stepping stones to success. Rather than comparing themselves with others, they should strive to become better individuals every day.

She filled the students with confidence by sharing the following message:

Kavitha Rani Administers a Pledge to Students

As part of the programme, Kavitha Rani administered a pledge to all the students, encouraging them to study diligently, respect their parents and elders, follow the guidance of their teachers, believe in themselves, and lead disciplined lives.

She urged them to grow into responsible citizens who contribute positively to the nation and society. She also emphasized the importance of treating everyone with respect, helping people in distress, and never abandoning their goals because of poverty or adverse circumstances.

She called upon the students to follow the ideals of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam by cultivating knowledge, humility, patriotism, compassion, and strong human values.

Students Pay Tribute Through Songs and Speeches

Following the address, Treasurer P. Girijammal, staff members Y. Janardhan, T. Bhargavi, and S. Bharathi, along with the students, remembered Dr. Kalam’s greatness and his invaluable service to the nation through songs and speeches.

The students captivated the gathering with their speeches, highlighting his inspiring life, achievements, dedication to education, and contributions to India's scientific and technological development.
